My Father’s Hotel 1930-1936 Eighty One Years Later, Pamplona, Spain

My father, Fred Evans, lived in this hotel while selling sheep shearing equipment in Spain from 1926 to 1936. I am holding the photo he sent his father at the time.

My half-brother, William Hagler Evans, died of complications of strep throat in 1930 at the age of 5. He is buried in Madrid in the British Cemetery. His mother returned to the U.S. and divorced my father.
